You’ll quickly discover that literally the whole of Venice is one giant open-air museum as you encounter imposing Palaces, important churches, enchanting canals and bridges as you make your way through a labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways to the Jewish Ghetto that lies in the heart of the Cannaregio district of Venice.

We will spend time visiting the Synagogue, which brings special insight to the ghetto and its religious practices, as well as two moving memorials to Italian Jews lost in World Wars I and II
